To get a person up and moving you need a bet to follow. Rhythm is great, but without a drum beat you have nothing but a sweet ballad. In His Kiss, my main characters love hanging out playing basket ball in the park. To write the scenes as fun, then sexual tension and ultimately a war between them, I had to have the right back ground music to get them running, dodging and their hearts pounding.
My go to song for these scenes is a rock song with a head bobbing beat, I can really see them listening to. And as a writer I really appreciate the extraordinary detailed, creative video.
